Once you walk up to a girl there are a few things you can say to keep the conversation going.

Try these tips to have better conversations with girls. Note:  Set aside a minute to let it click with you that she is her own person before you test this.

Be a little challenging. Be a little mysterious. Make her put a little effort in. Every now and then girls will attempt to test you.These times are excellent for flipping the script and testing her back. Most guys will respond to a woman’s tests by trying to prove that they are manly or by trying to appease her. You don’t want to do either of these. You are just hurting yourself.

In this sort of situation, you can do two things. If she asks you something like how old you are or what you do for a living, you can either:

First, you can ask her “What has you asking that?”  This only comes off well if you’re sincere.  Otherwise you’ll just come off like a jerk. This is a chance for you to get to the core of the real issue.

In case you missed that, you answer questions with questions. Keep this under control though or it might look like you are dodging the quesitions.

Second, you can tell her something that is funny but obviously not true.Try to make it anything really lame. The more embarrassing it is, the better. It will show that you are confident enough in yourself that you can make fun of yourself. Most guys would never have the courage to say that they have never been with a girl. When you do this and it’s obvious that you are merely kidding around with her, she will start to think of you you as confident and smooth. If at any time you don’t know what to say to a woman, just try something to make her laugh.

Make sure you also hit on the girl too. If you don’t let her know that you think she’s hot, she may only think of you as a friend. I take it this isn’t exactly what you are aiming for. It doesn’t need to be a huge ordeal to let a woman know you’re attracted to her. Don’t try to think up some orchestrated lecture about why the two of you are meant for each other. That is plain bad. Simply keep talking with her until she brings up something that you are really impressed with. Then say something like “That’s really attractive how you pour so much energy into your art,” or “I think women that can make cakes are really attractive. “

Don’t even be concerned about it sounding rational. It can be a little silly. In fact it will usually be better if it’s original.

It should be pretty obvious that the only way you are going to get to know a girl is to sit down with her and ask her questions. I’ve seen lots of lists of dumb “date questions” for you to ask like “If you could have one super power, what would it be?” but these just come off as forced routines that don’t really bring the two of you closer together. These will only hurt your chances with the woman.

You shouldn’t devote your efforts to these stupid questions. Try just having a real conversation with the woman instead. These sorts of questions are just a crutch that men use to help ease the jitters that they get when they are eager to impress a girl. Ultimately, these corny routines will only keep you from having a good connection with a girl. Try to stop approaching the situation by thinking so much and try to be more in the moment when you’re with her. Notice how she reacts and behaves toward things that happen and actually start to care about her experience and feels and you’ll never run out of things to talk about.

Lot of men fall into the trap of asking too many “yes/no” type questions.If you do this, stop it. This is creepy and it comes across as if you are interrogating her.

Are you from around here? – Yep.

Do you have a job in town? – Yep.

Do you like cats? – No.

Is this conversation getting under your skin? – Yep.

Instead, ask questions that require an explanation and make her put some of herself out there.

Which part of town do you like the most? – Definitely the XYZ District. I just moved there, in fact.

Really?  What’s the best thing about that neighborhood? – These’s just so much history in that place!  It never gets boring. yadda yadda yadda.

You’re probably getting it.

Ask the girl things about her life. Get to know her better and understand how she sees the world. Start to drill down deeper into her emotions by asking the woman questions like “What did that make you feel?” and “What was it like when XXX happened?”  Watch how she acts when she describe things and drill down on those too.  Ask her things like “You seemed a little worried when you told me about your job. Would you tell me more about that?”  You might even help the girl uncover things about herself that she didn’t even know.

After you do this a little bit, it may begin to feel that the two of you are completely separated from the rest of the world in your own private bubble.You can be in the noisiest club out there, but it will seem like you have her all to yourself.

Don’t you think that this is a huge improvement from “What’s your favorite type of jelly bean?”.

So, please leave the lame questions to those online surveys your friends send you. Just bring yourself fully to the interaction and allow whatever happens to happen. Ask questions to the girl and start to really get an understanding about her life. So feel free to ask anything that you want, so long as you are truthfully interested in the answer.
