Sheer Shades With Adjustable Light Control
Sheer shades are a versatile option that some people overlook when researching the different types of window coverings available to meet their needs and provide the best window treatments for their home.
With sheer shades, the vanes that adjust for light control are sandwiched between two layers of sheer fabric. The marriage of these two elements of vanes and sheers, creates a way to beautifully filter and control natural light, which is a very important consideration, especially in sunny climes.
Both sheer vertical shades and sheer horizontal shades are available in a large selection of fabrics, textures and colors and due in part to the fact that they add soft lighting to any room, they can fit into most any design scheme. They can also be customized easily to handle irregular and odd size windows which sometimes makes sheer shades the clear choice for some applications.

With the large number of choices of window coverings available for your home this is a great type to go with so that you can have the light from the outside filtering into your room but still keeps the sun’s harmful rays from damaging the fabrics on your furniture.
I have a recliner that I kept too close to a window when I first bought it that has one side totally faded. It is a real irritation to have to live with because the chair cost me a fair amount of my paycheck at the time and it was one that I wanted for a long time.
If I had the sheer shades on my windows I could have still let the light in and kept my chair in good shape. I wish I knew then what I know now.
Cheers,
