Granted that means they'd work just fine as a burglar alarm, but that's probably the extent of the protection they offer, unless there's also some constant video surveillance of the same location, which would be extremely expensive for a homeowner to get. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from getting a <a href="http://securityalarmnow.com" rel="nofollow">home security system</a>, but I think people should know what they do and what they don't do.
