They may cause deposition of a yellow substance close to the retina and even attribute to hepatitis.
Tanning accelerators- These tanning products work by accelerating the production of the skin pigment melanin. They consist of a chemical substance called amino acid tyrosine. This substance excites the secretion of melanin which enhances the natural tanning of the skin. The tanning accelerators can be had in the form of lotions and tablets. While these products have been in use for many years, their effectiveness as a tanning product still remains under doubt.
Sunless tanning products offer near about realistic results. They give you seep and dark color tone. There are some products that will even give you a golden or a bronze glow. Since sunless tanning products induce an artificial tan, they do not protect you from the sun like melanin in a ‘real’ tan does. So if you are using sunless tanning products, ensure that you are applying sun lotion if you go out.
