Besides doing these targeted exercises, you also need to be aware of what you eat by trying to make all your snacks and meals healthy ones. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, eliminate the refined foods whenever possible, foods like flour and sugar, and try to ensure you have some protein whenever you eat, so some meat or fish or a little cottage cheese, low fat, of course. There are a lot of options, and naturally you need to reduce the amount you eat over the course of each day. Spread this food out over 5 or 6 snacks and meals, with your total food tally being less than you normally eat.

Your body never really gets hungry by eating so frequently, and it will be able to digest the food more easily, turning it into energy for you to use quicker than if you have a packed belly.

So, in conclusion, work on interval training to use exercise to burn off fat , while you eat a healthy diet, with plenty of vegetables and fruits, but have smaller portions regularly throughout your day rather than in big meals. Do this and, your body will start to lose its fat, and your stomach will get flatter, just as you’d hoped!

Can’t Lose Weight? It Doesn’t Have To Be Like This

Really think you can’t lose weight? Any reasons why you think that you can’t shed a bit of flab? The fact is most people who are looking to lose a few pounds get set in the mind that they can’t lose weight. Some mystical power is stopping them from achieving their weight loss goal.

The truth is they are reluctant to lose any weight at all. They would be happy to simply carry on as they are. Yet they still tell themselves they would like to lose a few pounds but they can’t, or don’t know how.

It’s no magical secret. Weight loss is a simple mathematical problem. Your body needs to use more calories than it takes in. If we eat more than we burn off we get fat. Period.

Very doubtful as the willpower level in our culture is rock bottom.

Exercise For Love Handles – Side Bends Really Won’t Work

Do any search on the net and you’ll hit a million websites that will promise to strip that fat from your love handles. Fact is, the majority is useless. Usually setup to try and sell you some expensive equipment or diet pills.

The side bend is the usual suspect in the exercise for love handles category. You hold a walking stick or broom above your head and bend from side to side. Simple! You can do side bends all you like but they won’t work.

They rarely work because you are trying to target just one small area. This is very difficult if not impossible. You’ll get a lot of know it alls telling you they do indeed work. They do work, but only if you do them with a whole all round system and not just “spot” training.

You will lose weight from your love handles if you incorporate the side bends with an all round workout. Couple the thorough workout with decent eating habits and you’ve cracked it. The fact is, to lose weight (or fat) you need to burn more energy than you consume.

Consuming energy means eating it, usually food. Burning energy means using it internally like a fuel, usually done by exercise. Exercise can be any form of activity that burns calories.

Could be any of these…walking, sex, swimming, jogging or even err … sex again! Any exercise at all is better than no exercise at all. The reason why people are getting fatter is they don’t burn off the calories that they eat.

You can exercise for your love handles all you want but if you ignore other areas you will simply get nowhere fast. I’m a naturally lazy person so I tend to go swimming a lot. It’s a great non impact all round exercise. If you can get to a swimming pool you should. It’s gentle and has great benefits for you.

I personally turn my nose up at jogging. I see no point in spending hours in pain and shortening the life of your knees. The guy who popularised jogging actually died while out jogging in a park somewhere. His body being found by two smokers passing by. There’s irony for ya!
