Tips for Having a Great Moonwalk Experience

Jumping Castles have been around for a long time but have only recently become more popular. They can be rented for birthday parties or church functions. The jumping castles are those large, inflated castles or slides with the long line of youngsters waiting their turn to jump around inside. Safety and setup are of extreme importance with these jumping castles. Supervision and correct instruction must be given in order for the party to be a success.

1. Proper setup is non-negotiable.
The best and easiest way is to have the rental company install it on delivery. You will need to make certain that all low hanging branches and shrubs have been cleared to make room for the size of the jumping castle. Your yard must be flat, preferably all grass with no cement, bricks, rocks or gravel around. The corners must be staked into the ground and held down with sandbags to make sure the jumping castle does not slip and slide while being used.

2. Always have a grown up acting as a guard.
Make sure they are aware of the operation of the moonwalk before being left alone to look after the children. Entrance into the jumping castle is through a front door and should be performed on all fours or from a sitting position. No shoes are to be worn inside and all sharp objects like bracelets and glasses must be removed before entrance is allowed.

3. Select a theme for your party and select a jumping castle to go with it.
For example, if your daughter is turning five you may want to rent a princess themed bouncie or, if your son is turning fourteen, you might rent a medieval styled one where the birthday boy and guests can play with each other inside. Jumping Castles come in all shapes and sizes. Here’s a thought: rent a large giraffe shaped jumping castles for your promotion that could be seen far away and instantly attract people’s attention. Grown ups won’t have to worry about their children while they are browsing.
