Hi,
My name is Sam Deane. Along with a small team of great people, I am the guy who manages and edits this blog and another one about solar power for homes at http://www.gosolarpowerforhomes.com.
As you might imagine, I am an active supporter of alternative energy and solar power in particular. Even though I live in the UK and the sun is not as prevalent as it is in California, I find that there is enough light to make serious savings with solar power right here in good ole blighty. As the technology improves, which it is doing radically and rapidly, it wont be long before there will be call for solar power all over the world. Needs must, as they say!
Aside from this passion, I am a father of a now 20 year old daughter called Sula – she’s still the apple of my eye! I live in a lovely part of East London, and yes! There are lovely parts of East London! Right by the glorious Victoria Park, if you know the area.
I live in a Buddhist community and practice bikkram yoga on a weekly basis. However most of the time I am either online or raising money for major charities like OXFAM, for which i get paid a living wage with right livelihood.
