Verizon FiOS TV is on the move again and is keeping current with social marketing breakthroughs. Facebook and Twitter integration offer huge value as well as video broadcasts. Now, those same types of features are moving into your entertainment room, allowing you to share your TV viewing experience with your friends on social networking sites.

Verizon FiOS TV will be adding Facebook and Twitter integration, as well as several other social media options, to its service. May websites these days are integrating Facebook and Twitter because this is where the consumers and users are. This allows you to update your status on either network at any time and also see what your friends are doing in the social media community.

Verizon FiOS customers will be able access simplified versions of Twitter and Facebook. For example, with Twitter, you can search and view currently hot topics, and with Facebook, you can view friend’s photos.

This is a move to keep Verizon FiOS current with social media applications and enhance their offerings as well as positioning themselves correctly in the cyber world.

This seems like a natural direction for TV to move in. You can do everything that Verizon FiOS is offering with mobile  technology and applications as well. The TV screen could possible put Facebook and Twitter integrated alongside the programming and could create a more interactive experience.
